FAQs - Criptan Savings

Activate rewards in your account, and every day you'll receive rewards for the balance in your Euro, USDC, Bitcoin, and Ethereum Accounts, one for each Account.

To start receiving rewards, the first step is to activate the "Receive rewards for my balance in Accounts" switch in the app, under the "Rewards" section within "Settings", under "Your Account".

Once you toggle the switch and save the changes, a message will appear indicating when the functionality status will change to ACTIVATED, and that's when you'll start generating rewards, receiving the first one the day after the indicated date.

To deactivate this feature, the process is the same as activation. You'll need to go to the "Rewards" section and, this time, turn off the switch. Once you do that and save the changes, a message will appear indicating when the functionality status will change to DEACTIVATED. From that day onwards, you will stop receiving rewards.

By activating the rewards, you authorize Criptan to use your funds and provide you with returns in exchange. In the event that Criptan experiences liquidity issues, it could affect the principal deposited. However, our priority is the security and backing of your funds, so you can trust in our commitment to you.

- Pros: You receive rewards every day for funds that remain readily available.

- Cons: In exceptional situations where Criptan may not have the necessary liquidity to meet all withdrawals in the short term, priority would be given to those with the switch turned off.

To receive rewards, there are minimum balances for each Account (check in the "Rewards and fees" section, here). These minimum balances are independent, meaning rewards can be received for Bitcoin if you have a balance greater than the minimum, even if you don't reach the minimum in another Account.

Regarding the calculation of rewards, a daily comparison is made between the balance at 00:00 of each Account, with the balance of the previous day at 00:00, taking as the basis for the calculation the balance of the day that is lower. Let's see an example:

- Euro balance, day 1 at 00:00: 2500 EUR.
- Euro balance, day 2 at 00:00: 1400 EUR.

In this case, since the balance on day 2 is lower than that of day 1 (1400 EUR vs 2500 EUR), rewards will be calculated based on this.

The rewards corresponding to each Account will be received at 00:00 CET each day, whenever applicable.
