CRIPTAN TRADE S.L. is a company registered with the Bank of Spain under number D646 for custody and trading services of digital assets; registration in this register does not imply any approval or verification of the activities carried out by providers of virtual currency exchange services for fiat currency and custody of electronic wallets by the Bank of Spain. Criptan uses robust and proven technology over the years for the custody of its clients' crypto assets. Most of the funds (+80%) are stored in ultra-cold multi-signature wallets that require the collaboration of several different employees located in geographically dispersed places to move the funds. The rest of the funds, stored in cold, warm, and hot wallets, as well as with the liquidity providers that Criptan works with, also require the collaboration of different people within the Criptan team. No cryptocurrency can be transferred by any individual person. The recovery keys for these wallets are stored in safes with physical security.
